Gravity

The word  Omutujju in Luganda means terrorist. So, what would you expect from a musician who calls themselves Gravity Omutujju? Remember the word ‘gravity’ stands for that damning force, which directs everything that rises, back down to the ground. I can understand why something along the lines of ‘grave terror’ would come to your mind.
His stuff is real terror, in the most comical and dramatic senses.

You will like this song, except of course if you are suffering from an acute sense-of-humour deficiency.
Gravity gets the seriousness of Kafeero’s song and then treats it to a feel of his grave terror. He treats the dreaded phenomenon of death like another wasted stray criminal in the village, who needs a thorough beating so they can return to their senses.

He does not only call death hopeless and stupid, he calls him/she/it “stupid of yesterday” (whatever that means!) and some other words that normal people like we here at Sqoop cannot print. He sends a warning to death saying he will rally troops, including the ‘great’ Golola Moses, to come and beat him up.

Gravity gives us a great remix to the late Paul Kafeero’s classic. It retains the gravity of what death means to us, while treating us to a ride of a good laugh along the way. Well done Mr Omutujju. Now there is a terrorist you can trust!
