Winnie Nwagi
Winnie Nwagi can be described as a no-nonsense artiste. She will put you back in line if you cross boundaries with her. She has been reported to have broken people’s phones, beaten some, and abused someone but that has developed over the years.
While in an interview on a local TV station, the Swangz Avenue artiste opened up on why she got a thick skin.
When starting, Nwagi was warned against retaliating to fans. She was told to respect them and always ignore the insults which affected her in the process.
“I heard people saying fans should be respected and it’s bad to reply to them. I was depressed and I used to cry but I said enough is enough. Why should I keep quiet? Why don’t fans also keep quiet?”
With all this, the ‘Malaika’ artiste gained confidence and turned the tables outside down. She says she’s ready for anyone who crosses her boundaries.
