It’s not every day that Ugandan comedians get nominated in Southern Africa, that is why when they get a nod, it’s something they will always celebrate.
Emma Napoleon is on cloud nine after getting a nod in this year’s Zikomo Africa awards.
“BREAKING NEWS: And so, we’ve been nominated in the Zikomo Africa Awards in the category of best comedian in East and Southern Africa. Honoured to carry our comedy once again,” tweeted Napoleon.
Napoleone is nominated in the best comedian of the year East and Southern Africa category along with Masai Nyonta, Hakika Ruben, Mjuni Empire, Kucas Mhvule and Katarina Karatu from Tanzana, Milton Xuro and Logic Benson from Zambia and William Last KRM from Botswana.
The Zikomo awards is an international award ceremony that acknowledges and celebrates individuals and organisations who are contributing positively and doing well in various industries, like art and entrepreneurs.
This year’s ceremony will be hosted in Lusaka Zambia.
