The Mbarara-based singer Prince Xzit is back in action after a quiet year while fighting drug addiction.

Mbarara’s-second-to Ray G, who admits to drug addiction in the past few years, says he is now a changed man. To prove that, he has dropped a gospel hit song titled; ‘Asiimwe Mukama’ loosely translated as ‘Thank you, Lord’.

“I now back with a bang, starting from where I stopped. Musically, I had relaxed and people always called asking where I had disappeared to. I gave it time and rested, I am now a new person who no longer takes drugs and alcohol,” Prince Xzit told Sqoop last Friday.

He asked for the usual support from his fans, saying, together they can change the world.

Prince Xzit rose to fame following the release of his hit song Ninkwesiga a few years ago.

Apart from ‘Ninkwesiga’, Prince Xzit has a lot more likeable music, making people dance mostly in the western region.

They include; Mpaka, Ebyensi Nomushenyi, Challenge, and Nshomeramu, among others.
