It is unavoidable, impossible to watch this video and not think this was Blu*3, this is who they were meant to become. They were meant to age in this way. But it is also impossible to watch this video and not think it is Blu*3 by another name.
As a viewer, you will have to deal with these feelings, and thoughts. Does that take away from this video? It could chip a blog away for those that watched Blu*3 in their prime. You will appreciate the exactness in arrangement of the scenes. That opening moment of the trio all clad in bold red. And Warafiki is deliberately displayed as ‘War’ first. You could read into that symbolism.
This video is beyond love, it is also a promise to a new lover that they can transcend the faults and mistakes of past lovers. The costuming is well-thought out, the trio well-matched. Whatever the case, the video is unlike a number we have seen this year. Let us not over read into the meaning.
