Before Saturday, most Kenyans only knew of one Exodus – the one of Moses in the Bible, but now they also know about Exodus the singer from Uganda.
The gospel singer was one of the biggest winners at the Kenya Groove awards 2012 held in Nairobi over the weekend.
Besides winning the Best Artiste of The year (Uganda) and Ragga/Reggae (I’m Walking) awards, Exodus also scooped Video Of The Year ( I’m Walking) beating all videos from Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, South Sudan and Rwanda among others.
Upon winning Exodus declared on Facebook and declared: “How can I thank God for all He has done for me!! Sometimes I get lost of words…we have just won three awards in the Groove awards 2012…a big thank you to all my fans, friends and loved one…ohhh how I treasure you.”
We don’t want to investigate whether Exodus meant loved ones or it is indeed a loved one!
