Cindy tastes mixed pill in Asia

Cindy Sanyu was at the receiving end of both bad and good treatment on her trip to Asia.

The bad news is that the Ayokyayokya singer was given fake dollars as payment for her performance.

We are told that half of her $5,000 (over Shs12m) payment was fake and the trickster (read promoter) took off immediately after the show.

Cindy couldn’t hide her anger and she posted on facebook: “I wish the promoter who paid me was Indian, I wouldn’t be so mad but it’s actually a Ugandan guy who did this. It hurts more when it’s someone from home.”

Cindy then posted the picture of the alleged trickster Kim Kibirige, who lives in Bangalore, India.

But then the former Blu3 singer was back to her happy moods after getting her pay for another show in neighbouring Malaysia. A Ugandan who attended the show told us that it was “fantastic”. The Malaysia show was on June 1 and Cindy returned a few days after again posting on her wall: “Just got back home tonight, me and my crew are all so excited about being home, surely east or west……….home is best.” But east or west, cheats are everywhere- just saying!
