The Music Video: Essimu y’ekiro

She’s kicked off where she left off in 2011, offering us another of those beautiful songs that leave you singing alone, looking at yourself in the mirror as you mimic the song’s words! Okay, I am that weird, so what?

Anyway back to Namubiru. If you thought Birowoozo was a good track, then you have to listen to Essimu Y’ekiro! I’m not that great a fan of UG music, but you have to give it up when you listen to something sweet and Essimu Y’ekiro is one such track! Like most of her videos, Namubiru looks good, thanks to a good makeup artiste on set because I have seen Namubiru “live” and she definitely looks far more appealing in the videos than “live.” No offence meant.

The colour setting too is close to perfect, like most of her videos. And there lies the problem with most of her videos! They are as predictable! You will always expect Namubiru to purr the right way in her videos, have the right make-up, do as little dancing as possible and have cheesy storylines to complete the whole picture! And come to think of it, all her songs are starting to sound the same! Oba is it me hating! Oba has Juliana Kanyomozi paid me Shs1m to diss Namubiru for her? …Uhmmm! Beautiful song. Good video.
