The war between veteran DJ, Shiru Kiberu and young rising DJ, Shafik Ramathan aka DJ Fikie, might just be beginning. Whatever became of mentor and mentee, only God knows but all we know the two do not see eye to eye. For quite some time since last year, the two DJs have been aloof towards each other yet they shared workspace at Laftaz Lounge.
And now the cold war might just get worse after DJ Shiru spilled soda into Fikie’s player, damaging it last week.
According to sources who were around when the incident happened, it was an accident but when Fikie confronted Shiru, apparently he responded arrogantly.
As we write this, we hear DJ Fikie has already shopped for a new turntable.
