“Enough of Cuban doctors, we want a Cuban President”

President Museveni recently defended the move to import doctors from Cuba, saying he refused to be blackmailed by the ever-striking Ugandan medics.

But while the president wants to bring in Cuban doctors, because Ugandan doctors want a salary rise, the internet is asking for a Cuban president, Cuban MPs, Cuban police, Cuban wives, Cuban husbands, Cuban everything.

The hashtag is #CubanChallenge, and if you are having trouble with your day, please stop by twitter and have a good laugh.

“Dear Mr President, can we also import a Cuban President? Seems the old one is fake and blackmailing Ugandans,” a tweep, names withheld shared.

Bireete Sarah tweeted: “Uganda Airlines will not take to the skies again until Cuban pilots have arrived. We need Cuban pilots to fly Ugandan planes because our pilots are rough and might crash land.”

“Government plans to bring Cuban students to replace stubborn Makerere students over their endless strikes. Cuban students are well behaved and won’t be taking to the streets all their time because of simple disagreements with the administration”

But hey, what if Cuban doctors look like this?

Well, Many testify that they have already fallen sick and want the Cuban Doctors in the country immediately.

Ronnie Hakiza on Facebook wrote: “The #CUBANDoctor Challenge, reminds me of the day I went for circumcision, about 4years ago, and the would-be-doctor was female. She was young, curvy and kind fresh from medical school. I imagined a female doctor going by-and-around her job on me, and guess what…. I postponed the exercise. Bring on the #CUbanDoctors please.”

Then there is this video: “The 1st Batch of Cuban Doctors is already attending to patients in Karamoja Region.”
