It is quite some years since Sylvia Owori abandoned beauty pageantry business but we can now see that passion could not leave her alone.
At the launch of Miss Tourism Uganda last weekend, Sylvia Owori was one of the people in attendance and considering how mediocre the event had become, there were lots of sighs when it was announced that she will be a partner in the Miss Tourism Uganda.
Speaking to Owori, she said she came on board to represent Operation Wealth Creation, a project championed by Gen Salim Saleh.
The last Miss Tourism pageant had some loopholes and there was fear that it would collapse.
It however looks like the new touch and Owori’s history in pageant organisation during her Miss Uganda days will revive the vibe.
