Singer Miley Cyrus, and actor Gerard Butler are some of the celebrities who have been left homeless after their homes were destroyed by deadly wildfires in California.

“Completely devastated (sic) by the fires affecting my community. I am one of the lucky ones. My animals and LOVE OF MY LIFE made it out safely & that’s all that matters right now,” Cyrus tweeted.

“My house no longer stands but the memories shared with family & friends stand strong,” she added.

American film actor Gerard Butler came home to find his home burned to ashes.

Gerard posted a devastating photo on Sunday showing his Malibu home burnt to a crisp. He says this is what he came to find after being evacuated from the area, adding that half of his property is gone.

Fortunately, the actor’s trying to stay positive about the loss, saying he was inspired by the courage, spirit and sacrifice of firefighters who are battling the flames. He thanked the Los Angeles Fire Department and asked his followers to support them if they could.

Gerald Butler is famed for movies like Den of Thieves, 300, Law abiding citizen, Olympus has Fallen, Hunter Killer, and Gods of Egypt among others. He is a Scottish actor and renowned Hollywood A-list star.

Many of the affected residents own horses, and Twitter has been flooded with messages from people seeking and offering help.

Actor James Woods, a rare political conservative in liberal Hollywood, has made new friends by using his Twitter account to help find missing people and getting help for pets, including horses.

The Ventura County Humane Society said it was “deeply humbled” by a $100,000 donation from actress Sandra Bullock and her family to rescue and care for animals evacuated from the fires.
