Murder at the party: Kenyan actor stabbed to death by friend

Jamal Nassul Gadafi, a popular Kenyan actor succumbed to knife wounds during a scuffle that happened during a party held on Tuesday night.

Gadafi, 39, is said to have been stabbed by a female friend after wrangling over reasons yet to be established at the party held at Arks Hotel located in Mlolongo, Machakos County in Kenya.

Jamal played “Baba Junior” on KTN Home’s TV drama series “Junior” and also featured as the judge in popular court drama series “Vioja Mahakamani” that airs on KBC.

“We are saddened to learn about the tragic death of Jamal Nassul. He was a versatile actor and previously starred in the ‘Junior’ TV series, playing the role of Baba Junior. Our prayers go out to his family and friends at this difficult moment,” said KTN Managing Director, Joe Munene.

Jamal won ‘Best Performance in a Comedy’ Award during the 2017 Kalasha Awards.
