One thing with the Ugandan entertainment industry is that companies, business people and music consumers always want to associate with artistes of the moment and apparently, John Blaq real names John Kasadha is that kind of artistes.

He has been on top of the charts since last year and because of his consistency, Crown Beverages found him the ideal candidate for one of their mega deals going by the information we have received.

The singer, is said to be smiling all the way to the bank and is also set to do a collabo with one of Pepsi international music stars although we haven’t yet identified who that star really is.

A source at Pepsi who could not speak openly about the deal because he is not authorised to speak for the company said, the singer’s rising popularity drew the company to the youthful artiste.

“Some scouts flew in from the UK for Zzina awards that happened a few weeks back to meet him, the deal was discussed and connected. That’s all I can tell you.” Said the source who prefers to remain anonymous.

John Blaq’s outstanding performance and unique music are believed to be among the many reasons he landed this juicy deal.
However, the artiste and his close associates are still tight-lipped about the details of the deal but say that he is very excited and cannot wait to start.

The beverage company is well-known for its long-standing relationship with famous global music and football icons like Beyonce, Konshens, Messi and Mohamed Salah and supporting popular African musicians like Davido who connect with its youthful target market.
