The last time we heard about Jackie Chandiru was when her family members came out and asked promoter Balaam Barugahara along with other musicians to leave them alone. This was after we heard that the singer was on the brink of committing suicide.
Now the latest we have received is that Chandiru was flown out of the country by her Dutch husband Nol Van Vliet for further treatment. Like it has been the case before, this information was given to us by a reliable source who prefers to remain anonymous.
Vliet had reportedly called it quits on their marriage in 2017 following his wife’s relapses but because they are still married, he is still responsible for her.
