Swangz Avenue signs brand new artiste

Ten years later, a bunch of artistes have passed the muswangali hood, or call, it Swangz Avenue. With some leaving on acrimonious notes, while others on polite grounds.

From the likes of the late Sera, Young Zee, to Irena Ntale, Winnie Nwagi, and Vinka, the label seems not to be dropping the idea of breeding new talent.

Today, the outfit has unveiled to the public, yet another singer, ‘Zawie’. At the gathering, which was attended by the press, and the entire Swangz team, Benon the second in command told the artist that they are ready to give her the biggest push in her career.

“Unless you disappoint yourself, we’re more than ready to see your career to the greatest heights,” he said to her.

Zawie is a purely new talent, with nothing to her name yet, although the Swangz team says she’s a fantastic songstress, songwriter and instrumentalist.

The event also doubled as the signing of her lifelong contract with the record label.
