Fireboy DML and Ed Sheeran’s ‘Peru’ gets 4M views in a day

The highly-anticipated collaboration between Nigerian singer Fireboy DML and English singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran is finally here with us. Fireboy DML and Ed Sheeran have been teasing the song for weeks now and fans can now enjoy it through this festive season.

The record which now has an official music video see Ed Sheeran seamlessly deliver his verse ending it by singing a little bit of pidgin. ‘Peru‘ currently holds the record of the first song from a Nigerian artist to rank at #1 on the Afrobeats UK chart for four weeks in a row. It has already garnered over 4 million views on YouTube.
