I was sent by musicians to represent them – Lord Bitem

Lord Bitem

Lord Bitem

Little is known about Uganda Musicians Association (UMA) presidential candidate Lord Bitem but during the first presidential debate, he highlighted that fellow artistes requested him to stand for this position.

While being hosted on Dembe FM, the ragga artiste said that he was sent to come and represent them during this term.

“I was requested by musicians to come and contest for this position. Yes, they have been served but not to their expectation so they told me they need someone who will stand with them, represent them, and someone who is approachable and I am that person,” Lord Bitem said. Adding that if elected to office, he will serve for two years and leave others to also contest.

Lord Bitem real name Ramathan Mutebi is among the candidates and is a raga artiste behind songs like Namudu, Mutabire, Kikube Okite, Ebitulituli, and Mukazi ki among others.

He collaborated with some other artists like Jacques Joel Boateng, Cely Uno, Ryda, Mellah Music, SHB, and others and eventually got linked to the Star Planet Recording thus signing his first music contract.
