Every performer has that one personal need they want to fulfil before they are forgotten. Actors like Faridah Nabagesera want to make it in Nollywood.

Film-maker Nana Kagga wants to take the first Luganda movie to Hollywood while singer Lady Mariam of the Tindatine fame has always yearned to perform at Serena Hotel.

The singer, who has no new songs said it’s a dream come true for her name to be listed among the artists who are going to perform at the 2022 annual Tugende Mukikadde event. The event is to happen on December 3, at Serena Hotel.

During their unveiling, the overwhelmed Mariam said: “I have always wanted to perform at the Serena. It’s my favourite stage and every time I see others singing there, I tell myself someday I’ll perform there and it won’t be for free. I will be invited and advertised for my fans to come and watch me,”

Other artists to perform include Zig Dee, Eddy Yawe, Abdul Mulaasi, Chance Nalubega, Sweet Kid, Betty Mpologoma, Kabuye Sembogga, Akiiki Romeo and Abeeka band.
