Elijah Kitaka
Information we have gathered is that Swangz Avenue has signed artiste Elijah Kitaka and the unveiling will take place earlier next year.
Although we have not landed on full details, what we gathered is that Kitaka’s contract signed a five-year contract that will see Swangz in charge of his promotions, bookings, recordings and management.
Efforts to reach Swangz Avenue management for a comment could not yield anything as they refused to pick our phone calls.
Kitaka, famed for songs such as Me and You, Star, Mukulu Nsi and Beera Powa, among others is not the first male artiste to be signed by the Industrial Area-based label.
Zulanda, Joel Kisakye and T Assets are some of the male artistes that were once signed to Swangz Avenue. Kitaka now joins Winnie Nwagi, Azawi, Vinka and Zafaran.
