I cried after hearing that the stage had collapsed – Chameleone

Jose Chameleone

Jose Chameleone

A week has gone by after the stage on which Chameleone was supposed to perform, collapsed at the cricket oval due to the heavy downpour.

While speaking to the press on that very day, Chameleone was calm and promised to deliver at his best come the 24th of this month. But before that, he had shed some tears after hearing that the stage had collapsed.

“I was in my hotel room charting with my big brother Humphry but suddenly, one of my boys came in and told me the stage had collapsed. I first thought he was joking but after a few seconds, I went on social media to confirm but there was nothing,” Chameleone narrated while on Dembe FM’s Talk and Talk show.

“After a few minutes, news started spreading and indeed the stage had collapsed. I went straight to the bathroom, looked at myself in the mirror and tears started rolling down my eyes,” he added.

He further added that it was after that moment that fellow artistes like Bebe Cool, Messach Ssemakula and his brothers contacted to comfort him.

It was then that he decided to go to the venue to see everything with his own eyes.
