About two days ago social media was a wash of leaked audio of socialite Zari Hassan in which she belittled and bashed her husband Shakib Lutaaya.
In the audio, the socialite is heard having a conversation with a friend of hers who she requested to brief Shakib on what he should do at immigration while preparing for his journey to the United Kingdom. Zari also explained to the person that her husband’s first international trip was when they traveled together to Dubai where the immigration procedures are not as strict as those in the UK. Since it was going to be her husband’s first time in the UK, Zari reached out to her friend to help her brief Shakib on what to do.
Zari further told her friend who we have found out was the promoter behind the ‘All White Party’ organised in the UK. “Shakib panics when asked many questions,” she explained. The socialite also expressed her disappointment in young people who tend to be cowardly and timid yet are expected to be assertive.
The words Zari said in the audio seemed not to be received well in the ears of her husband who later responded to her via his social media platforms saying, “Don’t talk ill about your husband to anyone ever. Respect me in my absence. That’s all I ask.”
Zari, however, responded to the audio making rounds saying that she was not talking about her husband in bad faith because she wanted him to take immigration issues very seriously.
