Of course there is a lot people have said about Meg 2, apparently it is not even as half as enchanting as its predecessor.
It is been said that the film has a poorly built storyline and a bloated script that seems to promise too much but never brings itself to actually deliver.
Yet above all, films such as Meg are never meant to deliver a sophiscated plot with Easter eggs, there are films meant to be enjoyed. They make up a big part of escapism art, it helps you suspend logic.
