Oma Africana returns with ‘Bilala’

Oma Africana

Oma Africana

‘Bilala’ loosely translated as ‘other things’ is Oma Afrikana’s latest single under Black Magic Entertainment, where he is signed.

The love track is relatable, especially to people in love and the chorus is so simple. It has a heavy danceable beat and will surely not miss most deejay’s playlists.

Produced by Baur, one of Uganda’s best and biggest producers, the song defines Afrikana as one of those artistes to watch out for.

Done mostly in Luganda with a bit of Swahili, Africana praises his lover, saying she is sweet like sugar and wants to be with her all the time.

“I enjoy your company and I am willing to do anything just to be with you, never letting you off my side,” he states in one of his verses.

Speaking about the video that was directed by Elly V. Mugisa, it is quite simple. Two characters, Afrikana and his supposed girlfriend that is it. It has no more than three locations. Easy script and straight to the point.
