According to the former Blu*3 member, after producing the song, Washington had to push for the video as well because she was reluctant to shoot it.
“Gold Digger is a song I never liked actually like right from the start but Washington kept asking me for the video and I kept dodging him and not picking his calls because I did not like the song. Hiwever, one time he bumped into me and threatened not to give me the master unless I gave him the video, which I did but until now, it is that song that keeps haunting me,” Chandiru said.
