Celebrities pride themselves in items they possess and some of them are known to invest a lot in these items. The challenge comes when these items are stolen or lost and then sold cheaply afterwards.
Last Friday evening at Kampala Serena hotel, dancehall musician Vampino was left disgruntled after losing his shades reportedly estimated to cost Shs3.7 million. According to the artiste, he placed them on the table but could not locate them afterwards.
“I cannot locate my shades, they are platinum rose gold and they are so expensive. I cannot think straight because I bought them at $1,000. I wish I had sold them earlier because someone was willing to cash out on them,” Vampino said.
