Florence Kasumba
Florence Kasumba is a head turner in Hollywood. She cannot walk on the American streets without getting people’s attention but not in Uganda.
The actress was reportedly part of the crowd that attended the just-concluded Nyege nyege festival in Jinja but no one could recognise her. She hopped from one stage to another without the attention of anyone even without disguising herself, bringing to life the saying that ‘Whatever happens at Nyege Nyege stays at Nyege Nyege’.
According to our source, Kasumba sneaked into the country specifically for the festival. Apparently she had always wanted to come but was not sure about the reception.
Kasumba is a Ugandan-born German actress best known for her roles in Captain America civil war, Avengers, Black Panther and Wonder woman, among others.
