Young female rapper Felista Di Superstar real name Faith Nanyanzi, is saddened by the cancellation of her maiden show which was slated for April 1, 2024. News reaching sqoop desk indicates that the concert has been canceled. She made the revelation in a video she posted on her social media media pages.
In the video, she explained why the show has been cancelled.
The youngster reveals that the money that was meant to prepare and organize the concert was swindled by the person in charge of the show.
She goes on to note that over Shs50m was swindled and that she is in great pain for the unfortunate occurrence.
In a a post she wrote, “To all my fans and supporters, I am so sad to inform you that my maiden concert for Lista Fest 2024, which was to take place at Wankulukuku Stadium on Easter Monday, is canceled. This comes after the person in charge of the concert disappeared with all the funds, close to 50 million Ugandan shillings, which were meant to help in the preparations for the concert. I have a lot of pain in my heart, but I have learned that Uganda’s music industry is not a piece of cake to eat. My support had decided to boost my career by funding this concert, only to be ruined by a greedy man. Tomorrow, I am going to share the photos of this man and his name so that no one else falls into his trap. Although this has happened, I won’t give up on my dreams. I will keep fighting because survival is for the fittest. If this opportunity has vanished, I am sure that Allah, who gave me forever to be loved by people, is planning a better one for me. Alhamdulillah Amen.”
In January, she revealed how excited she was to hold her first concert dubbed “Felista Fest 2024” at Wankuluku Stadium.
We tried contacting Felista Di Superstar; however, she declined to receive our call.
Felista Di Superstar burst onto the music scene in 2019 and has since turned into a top youngster in the industry with a couple of popular songs to her name.
