Some of the exciting facts about the Uganda National Cultural Centre’s Jam Session that have lived to date include; free entry and, it being a platform for everyone.

The second fact is the reason why even the shyest people get on stage to convey whispers through the microphone.

The most beautiful and motivating thing about this is that big stars sometimes come around to share a stage with the rising stars and the forever upcoming ones.

A few weeks back, the live music show returned with a partnership with Music, Life Skills, and Destitution Alleviation (M-LISADA), a non-government organisation that uses music to rescue children and young adults from the destitute.

Their partnership has since spiced up the event as it is no longer about music, instruments, and reggae dances but also, cultural performances too. These are a fusion of Uganda’s diverse cultures.

Besides the raw talents and the M-LISADA band, the UNCC Jam session stage has also been graced by Albert Bisaso Ssempeke, and Andereya Baguma among others.
