Next time the devil tries to tempt Grenade into attacking Rickman physically, the Nkuloga artist may think more than twice. After that brawl at La Terazza Bar, Kisementi in 2023, Rickman was admitted to hospital with a torn upper lip while Grenade vanished to avoid arrest.

A year later, the two artists squared off, this time not in a kafunda but under the bright ring lights inside UMA Exhibition Hall at the Uganda Boxing Champions League on Boxing Day. Rickman got his revenge by thumping Grenade in three rounds. The Bango singer won the first Corporate Boxing title and the bragging rights, amplified by social media trolls against his victim.

Now Uganda Boxing Federation (UBF) president Moses Muhangi is beckoning the chaotic pair of Pallaso and Alien Skin onto the canvas. The two have renewed their beef in violent episodes at the turn of the year.

First, Alien Skin’s Fangone gang beat up revelers and bouncers at Enkuuka festival in Lubiri on New Year ’s Eve, where Pallaso had earlier thrown offensive lyrics to Alien while performing his Byabanene hit.

Episode Two at Buloba Forest Resort was worse. Alien Skin parked in the face of Pallaso’s car to provoke him. The event organiser’s pleas for peace fell on deaf ears. And chaos erupted as the Fangone gang tried to attack Pallaso on stage, messing up the scene.

Pallaso boldly kicked some of them while rebuking them freestyle. That was just a warning. The following morning, his gang raided Alien’s home in Makindye-Luwafu, wielding stones and hammers, damaging the property and cars. Seems this gang violence is just starting. But Muhangi wants it to end in the ring.

“Why fight on the streets and injure innocent people, when you can settle your beef in the ring?” Muhangi said in a video.

“If you’re really serious, we can set the stage for you the way we did for Shakib and Kazoora, Laura and Fauzia and most recently Grenade and Rickman. You will even win a belt.”

Alien’s gang has boxers and kickboxers. But we don’t know whether his skin that even reacts to mere lyrical stings can brave a punch in the ring.[tps_title][/tps_title]
