Comedian Richard Tuwangye
Fun factory boss and one of Uganda’s leading comedians Richard Tuwangye is a lucky man after he survived serious injuries of a drone.
The Mizigo Express and Popi actor had gotten a gig to emcee at a function a few days ago but as he was busy going about his business, he saw a drone camera appearing towards him and next thing he knew, it had cut the back of his head.
“In my situation, I think I got lucky, had I not turned, I would be scar-face by now. I bled, not so much to not go on with my work, but enough to trigger an altercation with the guy. That’s when I learned he was learning on the job. Shouldn’t they have a license of sorts,” he recounts.
