Baby Gloria, whose real name is Gloria Mulungi Senyonjo, burst onto the entertainment scene at a very young age. In fact, she was one of the first baby celebrities of the early 2000s when she appeared in a Vaseline and soap advert before transitioning to singing.
The advert, along with her loyalty to the brand, earned her a lifetime ambassadorial role, despite her being just 23 years old.
In addition to this role, Gloria also had a short stint on reality TV and secured several other endorsement deals.
Through all of this, Gloria has had the support of her mother, veteran gospel singer Betty Nakibuuka. However, that role is soon to be entrusted to someone else—a person Gloria has chosen to be her “guardian angel.”
Earlier today, the ‘Mummy Mummy’ singer took a bold step when she said yes to a proposal, calling it the best moment of her life.
In a post on her social media accounts, Gloria expressed her gratitude and joy after being proposed to.
“Praise the Lord, I get to spend the rest of my life with my best friend. Best moment of my life,” she posted, accompanying the announcement with photos of the engagement ring and the man, whose identity is still being kept under wraps.
Gloria Mulungi is a Ugandan gospel artist who began singing at the age of two and a half. She is famous for songs like DNA featuring Ruyonga, Daddy Wange, Remote Control, and God Win, among others. She won the Tumaini Musical Award in 2010 and the Olive Musical Award in 2011.
