If you have heard strange ululations in your neighbourhood lately, do not panic, it is just Busoga celebrating in 4G.

His Majesty Kyabazinga William Gabula Nadiope IV, the king of Busoga, officially graduated from Yale University with a Master’s of Advanced Studies in Global Affairs. Yes, Yale. Not Yele in Mukono. The real one.
The Ivy League Yale. From Budiope to Bugembe, the celebrations are on steroids… youth processions took over Jinja, waving Busoga flags.
This is not just graduation, it is a momentous occasion more so from a tribe that has faced the 45-year-old backlash – if you know you know!
This gives hope to young people. Even palace officials are struggling to keep up with the number of congratulatory messages some from people who did not know Yale existed until now…hmmm!
