Jamaican Reggae Star Jamar Rolando McNaughton known by stage name Chronixx touched down the Ugandan soil yesterday. The 27 year old will be headlining a concert dubbed the ‘Pulse Jam Fest’ slated to happen tomorrow at the Sheraton Hotel Gardens.

This morning, a press conference was held at the venue where the headlining singer together with the organisers talked to the members of the press. During the press conference, Ali Alibhai who is the Founder of Talent Africa Group and the organizer of the show shocked the attendees when he said that the show will start at exactly midday with DJ Ras Brown entertaining the crowd who will have accessed the venue by then.

Explaining why the show is starting early as opposed to others shows where we have seen action kicking off later in the evening, Alibhai said that the Pulse Jam Fest is the first edition of the music festival and a festival is an event that happens for a whole day or even more than a day.

Chronixx who is in Uganda for the second time after 2016 when he performed at Ndeere Centre in Ntinda expressed his love for Ugandans. “Uganda is a lovely place to be and perform at, I am happy to be back again and Ugandans should expect the best of reggae music tomorrow” Chronixx said.

Apart from Chronixx, there will be performances from artistes like Cindy Sanyu, Nina Roz, Bennie Gunter, Voltage music, Nutty Neithan and the long lost KS Alpha, among others. Chronixx is known for popular songs like ‘Here Comes Trouble’, ‘Skankin’, ‘Sweet’, ‘Smile Jamaica’, ‘Black Skin’ and ‘Big Bad sound’ among others.
