Patoranking
In 2016, Patoranking was arrested at Entebbe airport for allegedly refusing to take off his cap at the checkpoint. He was detained for a few hours. On that day, the Nigerian singer had come to the country to announce the release of his God Over Everything album. This was a year after he had staged a concert at Lugogo Cricket Oval alongside Tanzania’s Diamond Platinumz.
Patoranking’s love for Uganda is no secret, so it is not surprising to learn that he will be here sometime in October to promote his recently released album, Wilmer. Although the venue for the concert has not been revealed yet, what we know is that the 12-track album was named after his daughter and it features artistes such as Nyashinski, Busiswa and Davido, among others. The album was officially released in May.
