Miss World 2018/19 Vanessa Ponce
Miss World 2018/19 Vanessa Ponce is in Uganda. She touched down a few hours ago and she was welcomed by Miss Uganda and Miss World Africa Quinn Abenakyo.
The Mexican beauty Queen and model was welcomed by a dance troupe that played different traditional instrument and put up a good cultural performance. Ponce arrives 6 days before the Miss Uganda Grand finale that will take place this Friday at Sheraton Hotel Kampala and she will grace it as chief guest.

“I am so happy to be in Uganda for the first time and I cannot wait to see the contestants vie for this year’s Miss Uganda crown” Ponce said upon touching down at the airport.
Abenakyo and Ponce among other contestants from other countries vied for the top crown in China last year at the Miss World Competitions. Ponce became the overall winner with Abenakyo coming in as 2nd runner up and also winning the crown of Miss World Africa.
