It was yet another great milestone for dancehall artiste Beenie Gunter on Monday evening as he unveiled his 25 track album titled ‘No Fear’.

The musician real names Crescent Baguma who is signed to Talent Africa unveiled the album at a listener’s party that took place at Talent Africa offices in Kamwokya. The unveiling party saw artistes that he collaborated with on the album in attendance as well as well-wishers and journalists. Among the notable people in attendance include Nigerian musician Skales, The Mith, Big Trill, A Pass and Lydia Jazmine among others.

Headphones were provided because it was a silent kind disco of event and Beenie Gunter explained what inspired him on every song that was played. Most songs on the album are about personal experiences and love related issues.

He noted that he has been compiling the album for four year and it was basically inspired by the criticism he received when he was starting out. “I was criticized for speaking patois. Many said I wouldn’t last in the industry. Others said with my style, no one would listen to my music but every song means something and music is a miracle to me. I talk about my experiences, my life and my journey on this album,” said Beenie Gunter.

Some of the songs on this album include ‘No fear’, the title track, ‘Nsooba’, ‘By Now’, ‘Linkup, ‘Saba’, ‘Ntwala’, ‘Ndibassa’, ‘Sekkle down’, ‘Byaliwo’, ‘No letting go’ and ‘Tolinda nkya’ among others.

According to Aly Alibhai, the proprietor of Talent Africa, their next step is making Beenie Gunter a household name worldwide. “Now that the album is done, we are going to ensure that Beenie Gunter is a worldwide star. The last two months have been hectic for us but we have managed to pull it off. This calls for a celebration,” he said before popping champagne.
