Well, Nyege Nyege initially started as a party, yet in the long run, it has developed into East Africa’s biggest festival. There was a time when people left Kenya, Tanzania and Rwanda to be part of the urge, today, they come from all over the world.

One of these people for all these years has been singer and rapper Nazizi Hirji; the first lady of Necessary Noize and the East African Bashment Crew. According to a source, the rapper has always wanted to be on that stage in vain and this year, it seems all her answers were answered when she was programmed as a performer.

She took to her social media platform to post that this is the first festival she ever fell in love with and can’t wait to kill the stage. Nyege Nyege Festival kicks off this Thursday at Nile Discovery Resort in Njeru.
