Easter is a time to celebrate and enjoy that is why the Central African Motocross Challenge has organized some interesting activities for sports lovers. In an event dubbed Easter Cheeza, it is an East African Affair between drivers from Uganda, Kenya, and Tanzania.
This will happen on Easter Sunday at Garuga. Uganda has brought its finest Motocross legends including; Maxim Van Pee, Allister Blick, Miguel and, Jonathan Katende, Fatu Kigundu, Zion and Kylan Wekesa, Sharifa and Shadia Kateete, Honourable. Jimmy Akena, Jingo Digital, Ethan Blick, Amiina Zawedde, Philbert Muwonge, Ashim Serwadda, and riders from Tanzania and the creme de la creme of Kenyan riders totaling over 120 riders.
In the racing corner: Duncan Mubiru “Kikankane” unboxing his brand new beast of a machine. Motor racing legend Ponsiano Lwakataka, Arthur Blick vs Ronald Sebuguzi, Umar Mayanja, Oscar Ntambi, Unisan Makunda, Mark Lubega, Abdul Kateeteee Nabavuzi, and many other racing giants.
The event will also feature a Boda Boda race where riders from all over Uganda will showcase their skills and the winner will walk away with a brand new TVS motorcycle from Yuvraj. Crowning the family day out will be a boat racing competition between fishermen from all landing sites and islands on Lake Victoria which will see the winner walk away with a goat. Gates will be open by 7:00 am on Sunday.
