Accompanied by his manager Nyshar Bridgette on stage he said, “I want to thank my fellow Ugandans for the overwhelming support and votes”.

This acceptance speech was accompanied by a post on social media which had the caption “Alhamdulillah, Allah did” (Thank you, God).

The awarding ceremony also featured performances from Nigerian global music superstars P-Square as well as singers Tiwa Savage, Eltee Skhillz, Pheelz, Fave, and Asake.
