Chameleone performs in Canada after leaving hospital

Musician Jose Chameleone has been hospitalized for a good number of days before fellow artiste Gravity Omutujju came out recently and urged Ugandans to pray for him because he was not doing so well health wise. His statements were re-echoed by Chameleones father Gerald Mayanja who said his son had been sick for months.

The Tunavumilia singer, real name, Joseph Mayanja was discharged on Friday from Allina medical hospital in Minneapolis before announcing that he was on the road to recovery as advised by the doctors.

However, a video clip doing rounds on social media shows the music performing in Canada over the weekend, seated on a chair at the Afrofest event.

“I come with music from my people, I come with a message from my people because it’s Afrofest. I come with a lot of Africanness. I wanna take you to Africa. My name is Joseph Chameleone,” he was heard saying.

After this, the crowd started singing his Jamila song to which he also started singing along.
