Renowned South African DJ Kabza De Small lost his brother and will not be coming to Uganda for the second edition of the Best of Kampala event happening tomorrow and on Sunday at Lugogo arena.

In a press conference that happened a few hours ago at the venue, the organizers of the event said it is unfortunate that Kabza lost a brother but had to compromise.

“It’s unfortunate that Kabza has lost his brother and will not be performing at the BOK event and his team is soon coming up with a statement. However, his team have compromised by offering us another equally good and renowned Deejay Maphorisa” said Godwin Abooki, the CEO and Founder of LaParonis who are the organizers of this event.

The event will have acclaimed artiste Nasty C as the headlining act while Hamida Mabeto will be hosting it.

The event dubbed ‘pop-up beach festival’ season 2 will have Dj’s Kas Baby, selector Jay, Slick Stuart, among others representing Uganda at this event. Entrance is 120k, 200k, 2.4M, 4.2M, 5M VVIP and 10M. Gates open at midday.
