DJ SlickStuart
The SlickStuart, Roja deejaying duo has had many tongue wagging ever since they started getting separate gigs. For instance DJ Slick Stuart is a regular at Nexus Lounge where DJ Roja doesn’t play while the latter is a regular at The Venti.
Despite playing at different bars and events separately they still call themselves a duo and actually still get booked as a duo. However news reaching the sQoop desk indicates that SlickStuart is the only Ugandan deejay nominated in the Africa Event awards.
SlickStuart received a nod in the event DJ of the year and will be battling it out with Black Coffee from South Africa, DJ Vyrusky from Ghana, DJ Spinall from Nigeria, Joe Mfalme from Kenya, R3hab from Morocco and Sinyorita from Tanzania.
Africa Events awards is an event initiative born by Event Guide Ghana and has been in existence since 2016. It was initially known as Ghana Event Awards. Africa Events awards is an initiative to recognize and honor personalities and event players in the industry.
