Ugandan award-winning DJ SlickStuart has added to his list of titles after winning the Africa event DJ of the year award on September 22 in Ghana.
The Ugandan entertainer beat off competion from Black Coffee from South Africa, DJ Vyrusky from Ghana, DJ Spinall from Nigeria, Joe Mfalme from Kenya, R3hab from Morocco and Sinyorita from Tanzania in the DJ of the year category.
“I am so excited to have won this award. It means a lot to me. I have been so lucky and I give all this to God. First nomination in these awards and I get to win it. I would like to thank my team for believing in me,” said an excited Stuart.
The event happened at the residence of South Africa High Commissioner in Accra, Ghana.
