The Beats and Bliss carnival held at Fort Portal’s Buhinga Stadium was a night to remember for music lovers last weekend featuring electrifying performances from some of Uganda’s top artistes headlined by Bebe Cool.

The stage was opened with hype commanded by MC Wzzy and DJ Hash, who ignited the mood as revellers got closer to the stage.
At exactly 08:30pm, Eddie Kiwanuka, aka Big Flexi, took the stage by storm, captivating the audience with his energetic dance moves as he spoiled revellers with amazing giveaways courtesy of FlexiPay. Local talents such as Atwooki Rickie, Ayesiga Muzamir and Iryn Hindah pulled off charming performances that transitioned into Bebe Cool’s performance.

At about 1am, Abeeka Band turned around the mood with a sensational live music session. Their fusion of traditional and modern music had everyone on their feet.

Bonny Mukasa, the event organiser from Mosh Concepts hailed all the event sponsors, including Stanbic and all the revellers that turned up for this year’s edition.
He said the Beats and Bliss Carnival was organised to bring together people from all walks of life in a grand celebration of culture, creativity, and experiential entertainment.

“Capturing the essence of joy and unity, the Beats and Bliss Carnival has showcased the rich tapestry of Tooro’s cultural heritage through a vibrant exhibition of dancers and performers, all embodying the spirit of celebration,” he said, adding that other editions of the event will be happening in different regions, including Soroti, Mbale, Gulu, Arua and Mbarara until end of the year.
