Kenyan legendary musician Redsan real name Swabri Mohammed is in Uganda. We learned that the main reason he came in is to perform at Jose Chamemeloene’s ‘Legend in Gold concert tomorrow at Kampala Serena Hotel.

Redsan popularly known for songs like Shoulder Back, Calling Out, Turn Up, Budda Than Most, Wanipa Raha and Tetemesha is the surprise artiste at this concert.

We got a glimpse of Redsan doing rehearsals with Chameleone today barely two months since he last performed in Uganda at Noni Vie.

Redsan and Chameleone have a long history together after Redsan took Chameleone in when he had nowhere to go back in the day in Kenya before his career blossomed.

The two alongside Bebe Cool are the original East African Bashment Crew before it was restructured to Bebe, Nazizi and Wyre.

However, the three artistes did not record any song together apart from Bageya which Redsan and Chameleone did. They would only attend shows together and perform solo projects.

Legends in Gold is going to be a celebration of Chameleone’s 25-music dominance and is going to have Fenon Events producing it.
