Mickie Wine explains attending burial of Gravity’s mum

Singer Gravity Omutujju weeps during a press conference on October 13, 2022.

Among the people who stood by Gravity Omutujju after the loss of his mother was Mickie Wine, among other artistes.

The two have not being eye-to-eye, partly because of their political difference.

Their relationship further hit a rock recently when they organized their concerts on the same day, with Mickie Wine registering success as Gravity counted losses due to the low number of revelers.

During the burial earlier this week, Mickie Wine came through and passed on his condolences before picking up a shovel and participating in the burial process.

When asked about this gesture, Mickie Wine said he went over to show his respect because he had no issues with Gravity’s mother.

“I went to show my respect. If someone abuses you, you do not have to abuse them back. Losing a parent is one of the hardest things someone can go through. I don’t have any problem with his mother,” said Mickie Wine on Spark TV.
