GNL, Legahacity, Fellista Di Superstar to lead Yenze hip-hop festival campaign

With just days to the inaugural Yenze Hip-Hop Festival set for June 28, 2025, at the iconic Cricket Oval in Kampala Swahili Nation Africa has unveiled GNL Zamba, Legahacity, and Fellista Di Superstar as the lead influencers driving the event’s promotional campaign.

The trio of artists will play a central role in amplifying the festival’s message and connecting with hip-hop audiences across Uganda and the African continent.

“Excited and proud to be signed on as an official influencer for the Yenze Hip-Hop Festival. This one’s close to the heart HIP HOP, the culture, the movement. Let’s make history together. Let’s fill up the Oval and show what we’re made of,” said GNL Zamba in a statement.

Their collective target is ambitious: to sell 20,000 tickets and 200 VIP tables, transforming the Oval into a vibrant celebration of African hip-hop culture, complete with fashion, dance, graffiti, and community engagement.

Positioned as a groundbreaking celebration of hip-hop in Africa, the Yenze Hip-Hop Festival will blend music, art, fashion, dance, and technology, staying true to the genre’s multifaceted spirit.

Rappers, break dancers, graffiti artists, and fashion designers both local and international are invited to showcase their talents at what promises to be a defining moment for Ugandan and African hip-hop culture.
