Fashionistas steal show at 2017 PAFAs

PAFA

It was all glitz and glamour as Kampala’s top fashion personalities and style enthusiasts descended upon Sky Beach Lounge on Saturday for the first ever Pearl of Africa Fashion Awards (PAFAs).

Not to be outdone by guests, the show hosts who included Crystal Newman, Miss Deedan, Sheila Gashumba, Zahara Totto and Denzel Mwiyeretsi also dressed to the nines.

The event kicked off at 7 pm with guests enjoying a two hour red carpet session where they showed off their outfits and got to mingle with the press and fans.

This was followed by showcases from Eguana Kampala, Jose House of Creations, and Kai Divo Collections. The models strutted down the runway that was floating over the venue’s massive pool.

There were also performances from artistes like Spice Diana, 256 kings, RozyViccyCathy dance group and many others.

Several personalities walked away with accolades in the different categories including Anita Beryl for Fashion Designer of the Year, Michelle Omamteker for the Humanitarian Awards for Works in Fashion, Hellen Lukoma for Best dressed Actress, Roger Mugisha for the Best Dressed events host and so many others.
